With Avengers: Endgame marking a major shift in the MCU, it is interesting to hear Feige talk about the uncertain beginning of the MCU. As we talk about in Assembling the Marvel Cinematic Universe the cinematic universe draws inspiration from multiple print iterations of Marvel characters. Feige sees this link to the print origins as the key to the MCU’s success. This is a great snapshot of Feige’s logic about why the MCU is successful.
